The edition consists of a selection of 11 photographs by Klaus Barisch. He recorded Nam June Paik’s early performances in Cologne, 6 scenes at Mary Bauermeister’s studio in 1960/61 and 5 scenes of a concert by Nam June Paik and Charlotte Moorman at the WDR-broadcasting house in Cologne on 26 September 1980.
The photographs are printed on Hahnenmühle FineArt Baryta paper, mounted in a passepartout (50 x 40 cm) and presented in a black linen box (51 x 41 x 5 cm).
Each photograph is numbered and signed by Klaus Barisch.
The photographs are accompanied by an essay by the art historian Wilfried Dörstel, Carola Kleinstück-Schulman translated the text into English.
The edition is 50 ex. +5 a.p. and can be ordered from now on for 1.900,00 EUR plus VAT under info@schueppenhauer.com.
