Esther Ferrer

Esther Ferrer was born in 1937 in the spanish San Sebastián. In 1967, after various artistic activities and studies, she bacame a member of the "Grupo Zaj", founded in 1964 by Ramón Arce, Juan Hidalgo, Walter Marchetti in Madrid.

From the mid-70's she worked with plastic, which she used in photographs, installations, paintings, objects and photographs.

In her long career a performimg artist she has participated at numerous festivals in Spain and abroad (e.g. Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Denmark, Norway, England, Holland, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, United States, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Thailand, Japan, Korea)

The artist lives and works in Paris.
